In November 2015 East Crompton St James’ introduced Inspire Maths in Key Stages 1 and 2. Years 2-6 began with transition units, gradually introducing the curriculum scheme in its entirety whereas Year 1 began the maths programme in full. Throughout the 2015/16 academic year the approaches and applications from the scheme were transferred across all the year groups in the school to ensure all pupils benefit from this new approach.
